Humans have powers.
often, people take modernization as a sign of 'power'.
The invention of nuclear energy=modernization?
partially, yes.
but please,
have a look at the detrimental IMPACTS.
radioactive materials are beyond humans' control.
none of us can create them,
and so,
none of us can dispose of them in a short period of time.
if the nuclear reactor functions well, WITH ZERO FLAW,
fine.
every thing's safe.
but what IF,
there is a leakage, unnoticed?
there is a natural disaster, unstoppable, unpredictable?
it can cause penetration of gamma rays,
major explosions,
mutation of genes,
poisoning of aquatic lives,
gradually,
death of human beings.
The concept used in nuclear power is nuclear fission.
The atom of a radioactive material is able to split, split and split.
and the power generated will increase, increase and increase.
since so,
once it has lost control,
the impact will be magnified, magnified and magnified.
KABOOM!
2 atomic bombs can turn Hiroshima and Nagasaki FLAT.
how about radioactive materials which are stored in bulk for the generation of nuclear power?
the damage is beyond imagination.
Malaysia,
a country,
so blessed
with mountains, rivers, seas.
has alternative ways to generate electricity.
Hydroelectric dams,
Burning of biomass fuels,
Solar energy...
Located at the equator,
the equatorial climate enables us to generate power through hydroelectric
THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
so, why NUCLEAR POWER?
other countries have 4 seasons.
their river might freeze during winter,
hydroelectric is not the best choice,
and that's why, NUCLEAR.
but since we are blessed differently,
why emulate after the wrong method?
Controlling water is way easier compared to controlling radioactive materials.
radioactive materials can SPREAD.
spread to the neighbouring countries,
spread the the continent,
and then to the world.
I feel that the authority is 'clever'
thinking that the usage of nuclear power symbolizes development, modernization.
in fact, it doesn't seem so to me.
Tsunami struck Japan.
The impact of tsunami would be faced by only Japan itself.
but because of the nuclear power,
the ordeal didn't stop right after tsunami.
It continues to now.
every one is panic about the radioactive rays,
the penetration is unstoppable.
see?
the power of nature should have stopped.
but the 'power' of human caused it to continue.
With such horrible reality,
Malaysia is still going for nuclear power.
how irrational.
Reality is already displayed in front of our EYES.
both eyes,
but the authority is as if blind...
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Talking about Japan,
it made me think.
If the same thing happened in Malaysia,
what would have happened?
One Malaysia?
If it happened right here,
citizens would have a trauma straight away.
all acting like hooligans,
snatching,
fighting,
and even killing.
Unlike in Japan,
even with such high radiation count,
citizens have high integrity.
They know that being uncivilised doesn't help,
it only aggravates.
They queue for the bus,
obeying the conventional first come first serve basis,
and not 'I am the first basis'.
They volunteer to put out the fire in the nuclear reactor,
ready to sacrifice one life for more.
They are clearly aware of the effect due to exposure to radiation,
but it didn't cause them to hesitate.
The greed for survival doesn't seem to apply.
but the love for others does.
The King stood still,
he is still in Japan,
under the radiations.
With his wealth and power,
he could have absconded,
but he did not.
He knows what he is,
he is the King,
the leader of his citizens,
the icon of Japan.
He proved his citizens right to have him as the King.
Their Leader.
The power of nature did not totally beat people in Japan.
The power of human is still fighting with full spirit.
A complete paradox
However,
when humans stand in front of the nature,
we are inevitably small.
but it doesn't matter.
what matters is how we look at it.
how we fight,
how we survive.
If the same thing were to happen in our country.
Hahaha.
The first group of people who will run will be the 'Leaders'.
after years of 'hardwork', they have power and money.
and it will be then they prove the citizens wrong.
they prove to the citizens that we were the ones to make them strong,
so, don't blame them.
No one would want to get near the reactors (i admit, not even me),
and it will get totally out of control.
totally.
who would remember what they learn in kindergarten?
to queue for turns?
very very few people would.
they will only remember.
SNATCH FOR TURNS.
and so,
is our country capable of having nuclear reactors?
Pluease...
Only when the governments are completely clear with the effects.
with the solutions if any thing happens
with the mental preparations,
we might be capable.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Japan isn't strong for nothing...
look at the way they react,
look at the spirit they have,
the mindset,
the love.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
people in japan,
may all of you be safe.
may your lucky stars shine,
may the earth behaves,
may your spirits last.
every single human in the world.
stay safe.
appreciate the life awarded.
with love and passion.
Salute,
those who love LIVES than LIFE.
those who stand unshaken when the earth trembled greatly.
jiayou jiayou jiayou!
With all the love, bless, and wishes i have,
aunchian
